Where Do Kids Fit In?

At Leavenworth Church of the Nazarene, we believe that the way we welcome little children reflects how we welcome Christ. That’s why kids are at the heart of our community. Learn more about what that means here.

Preschool through 5th grade; Sunday Mornings, 9:00 am
Children’s Church

Our Sunday children's church takes place during service. We have two different classes. Our Preschool class is for kids in preschool (age 3 by Aug. 31st and potty trained) through Kindergarten. Our other class is our Elementary group (1st-5th grade). All of our Kids' Church lessons invite kids to become a part of the Biblical storytelling in wonderfully imaginative ways. Our curriculum uses different storytelling methods and learning styles to help kids join the story and connect to the message in meaningful and lasting ways.

Infant through 3 years; Sunday Mornings, 9:00 am
Nursery

Even at the youngest ages, we believe in partnering with parents in introducing their children to Jesus. Childcare is provided for children ages 0 - 3 years during our Sunday worship service.


Here at LCN, we provide a safe environment for children where all of our volunteers have been properly screened. Our terrific staff loves kids and looks forward to helping them learn more about Jesus


Special Events

Throughout the year, we host special events and activities just for kids! From Vacation Bible School to holiday parties to service projects, there's always something fun happening for kids at Leavenworth Church of the Nazarene.
