What We Offer

A Safe and Loving Start to Knowing Jesus

At Leavenworth Church of the Nazarene, we love seeing children encounter Jesus and grow in their faith. From our youngest little ones in the nursery to elementary-aged kids in Kids’ Church, and through our fun, faith-filled events throughout the year, we’re committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for every child. Our volunteers and staff partner with families to help kids discover God’s story, make meaningful connections, and experience His love in ways that stick.

  • Nursery (Infant to 3)

    Even at the youngest ages, we believe in partnering with parents to introduce their children to Jesus. Childcare is provided for children ages 0–3 during our Sunday worship service.


    At LCN, we’re committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for every child. All of our volunteers are carefully screened and trained to provide excellent care. Our wonderful nursery staff loves kids and looks forward to helping them begin their journey of knowing and loving Jesus.

  • Kids’ Church (Preschool–5th Grade)

    Our Sunday Kids’ Church takes place during the worship service and includes two age-based classes. Our Preschool class is for children ages 3 (by August 31 and potty trained) through Kindergarten. Our Elementary group includes 1st–5th graders.


    Each week, our lessons invite kids to step into the biblical story in imaginative and interactive ways. Using a variety of storytelling methods and learning styles, our curriculum helps children engage deeply, connect personally, and discover how God’s story shapes their own.

  • Special Events

    Throughout the year, we host special events and activities just for kids! From Vacation Bible School to holiday parties and service projects, there’s always something exciting happening for children at Leavenworth Church of the Nazarene. These events are designed to help kids grow in faith, build friendships, and have a ton of fun along the way.
