Our Core Values

How do we work and relate to each other?

The Bible is God's Inspired Word to us and by it we order our lives (2 Tim 3:16-17).  LCN's core values are based on the 5 Biblical purposes for the church: Worship, Fellowship, Discipleship, Ministry, and Evangelism.  We seek to balance these purposes in everything we do.  These core values are validated through our behaviors:

• Worship- surrender, reverence, celebration, praise, prayer, ongoing lifestyle
• Fellowship- loving relationships; sense of belonging; unity; nurturing, safe place; accountability; sharing of life together
• Discipleship- Bible-based teaching, mentoring, spiritual growth and commitment, life application, spiritual disciplines (prayer, fasting, personal Bible study)
• Ministry- gift-oriented service, every believer a minister, empowering leadership, teamwork, social awareness
• Evangelism- "go-ing" attitude, missional-Acts 1:8, testimonial, relevant, need-oriented
